- Maintained day-to-day operations of personal social media accounts. Including responding to DMs, comments, and connecting with others in the community to grow my own brand.
- Created content that spoke to my target audience and encouraged account growth.
-Filmed and edited short and long-form videos to post on YouTube for a beauty related account. Evaluated and highlighted different beauty products to encourage and better inform the beauty community.
-Launched a cosplay specific account which highlights outfits, props, and makeup looks inspired by popular anime, tv shows, and other medias. Established myself in the Hampton Roads cosplay community and built loyal followers through actively interacting with other pages to mutually grow accounts.

-Provide assistance in creating social media graphics and copy. Copy & graphics to announce special celebrity guest, important information for attendees, and encouraging call to action post with the goal of getting more people to pre-register, all while maintaining a clear and concise brand identity that has been established for almost 10 years.
- Write precise and specific copy for the convention program. The program will be given to each attendee and will provide them with helpful and necessary information as they explore the convention. The information needs to be both informative and interesting.
- Conceptualize ways to help grow our social media following and maintain a clear message. Research what other conventions are utilizing social media and publications and translate that to best fit NekoCon and our established brand identity.
Marketing & Development Assistant
Peninsula Agency on Aging- Newport News, VA
Sept 2022- May 2023 (Temporary Position)
- Coordinated annual community forum held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center with ~1,000 participants, 200 vendors, 6 panels & keynote speaker; lead with sponsors and vendors. Recruited new and returning sponsors and vendors. During the year that I was the lead on vendor/sponsors, we reached the largest number of first time high level sponsors. Brought this event back to pre-COVID numbers.
- Worked with planning committees and presented my ideas to a large group of community members and board members. Led vendor recruitment/management, and was responsible for answering all questions or concerns they may have had. Responsible for troubleshot all issues that arose regarding vendors, sponsors, and attendees.
-Acted as photographer for all large events, taking photos and videos, for PAA's website, future promotional materials, and social media. Updated the entire photograph portfolio of PAA, allowing them to use little to no less stock pictures.
-Developed and produced donation campaign specifically for social media, during national fundraising events (Giving Tuesday, and Give Local), raising ~$3,000. These campaigns highlighted real clients and helped to put a face to the organization. The campaign had a clear goal and call to action that translated throughout the promotional material, both video and pictures.

- Managed daily social media accounts (Instagram, @hawkinsnick & Facebook, @NickHawkins), ~1,000 followers on each platform. Responding to comments, DMs, and interacting with other content creators that shared similar target audiences. The company was strictly virtual and all of the personal trainer's clients were recruited through social media.
- Operated & maintained consistent content calendar. Altering content in response to our audiences reactions and what post reach more people.
-Contributed to meeting our goal of increasing client numbers by 75% several months before our deadline, including testimonies of clients who joined because of the social media posts.
