As a strategist, my favorite part of any project is talking to people and getting to know them on a personal and true level. We all love talking about ourselves, and listening to people talking about their passions and experiences, is something that I have always enjoyed. I will always pride myself as a good listener, which has proven to be valuable in the advertising and marketing field.
My very first internship was as a journalist's assistant at a local newspaper. The process of sitting down with a person and having a conversation has always been exciting to me. While interning I got the chance to interview prisoners at the local jail. I got to hear their stories and understand who they are as people rather than just labels. The opportunity to speak with people outside of my day-to-day was incredible. It taught me how to connect with someone when to all appearances we have nothing in common.
My other passion is film, anime, and all things entertainment. I am a self-proclaimed Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon expert! I make it my mission to always know all the latest celebrity news and pop culture topics. You definitely want me on your team for movie trivia night.
I am also an avid fan convention goer, from Star Wars to Attack on Titan, I love it all! While going to cons, I often cosplay as some of my favorite characters. I really enjoying making my own cosplays, styling the wigs, and perfecting the makeup. I run my own personal cosplay Instagram account where I consistently share my latest outfits.
